The Adventures of Thumbs Up Johnnie® is not Michelle's first “rodeo.” Her exposure to marketing and branding at Fortune 500 companies early in her career formed an intuitive sense for messaging and design.  Her success in developing creative marketing plans and brand strategy gave her the confidence to start her first business at 28. Having three successful start-ups in two decades confirmed her role as a serial entrepreneur at heart.

Jennifer Jaffin Hein 

Chief Business Officer


Jennifer is a detail-oriented “strategy guru!” From the first meeting to the finished product, she commands every detail. Jennifer manages the project pipeline that includes the initial proposal, pricing, printing, distribution and inventory control.  Jennifer is the organizational and strategic Yin to Michelle’s creative Yang. Her 20-year career with retail giant May Department Stores Company provided her with meticulous skills to strategize with clients to achieve their creative and production goals within budget and on time.  Her analytical skills and brand strategy experience help Hired Ink maintain its exponential growth.
